Buzzzzzz Light Year.

Light Year

1 Light Year = 9324744613632km

One light year is defined by travelling for 365 days at the constant speed of light, which is 299 792 458 m/s
where:

m = distance in metres
s = time in seconds

Yea......so this is why I am an advertising major, and NOT a scientist person, I have NO CLUE what that means.

But for the sake of a new planet being discovered about 20.3 light years away, I attempted (not saying I did) to understand where this place was located and if maybe I can visit.

So apparently there is this star system called Gliese 581 like forever away in outer space and the super smart people at NASA found a planet, just like ours (Earth, in case you weren't sure) Well....I think that this new planet is around a star called Gliese 581 (hence the name, I guess).

I wonder who will be the first to adventure to this "new" Earth?

Where do I sign up? Maybe I could be like Buzz Lightyear and save the planet!

The best thing about the future is that
it comes only one day at a time.
