Country or Urban?

Not sure about you, but when I am at the beach, or in the mountains, my favorite thing to do is look at the stars. I am pretty sure that I could spend a whole night just staring up at the sky (counting the shooting stars I don't see). Looking into a fantastic dark night sky can change your outlook on a lot of things, and it is something that I think everyone should do.

On the downside, when I am done with this continuous staring into the dark unknown, I feel really small. (Yes, I know this could be a good thing)

So, when you pick somewhere to live, do you think about the sky? (You should)

As seen in the picture, I obviously did not take, above, the sky you see in an inner city sucks compared to the sky you can see in the rural sky (and beyond?).

Don't you want to stare up into the night's sky and wonder who else is out there?

Don't you want all your problems to feel so small? (that makes me think of a song...)

"cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
is just a grain of sand
and what you've been up there searching for forever
is in your hands
when you figure out love is all that matters after all
it sure makes everything else seem
so small"

(yea, sorry, had to quote Carrie Underwood's song)

Anyways....

Don;t you want to see UFOs and Meteor Showers and the Moon and all that jazz?

If you do, move to the country, or the beach!

- Douglas Adams

P.S. If you do not have anything to do on the nights of October 21 - 22, you should go outside, in the country, and see the Orionids Meteor Shower. (http://www.seasky.org/astronomy/astronomy_calendar_2010.html)
