Four letters, two vowels, one letter worth 4 points in scrabble and a lifetime of confusion. It is my belief that we spend most of our life searching for love. We try to live up to the life movies portray for us, you know, the one where everyone gets the happy ending. Well I am here to tell you that ain't the truth.
Why do we all search for love? My guess is that its that feeling that everyone wants but they don't actually know what it feels like. I guess you could say that if you have felt it then you treasure it much more deeply. You realize the power and strength behind this four letter word if you have lost it once before. That is why my advice would be to always find someone who has had their heart broken before. No, I am not wishing that everyone have an awful relationship, but I am saying that if you have found someone and they have loved and lost before then they will act differently. Someone who has experienced the sweetness of love will be less likely to take it so casually. Someone who has lost it all before will hold on a little tighter the second time around.
But all that is just my observations on love.
801. Love is enough |
LOVE is enough: though the World be a-waning,
And the woods have no voice but the voice of complaining,
Though the sky be too dark for dim eyes to discover
The gold-cups and daisies fair blooming thereunder,
Though the hills be held shadows, and the sea a dark wonder, | 5 |
And this day draw a veil over all deeds pass'd over,
Yet their hands shall not tremble, their feet shall not falter;
The void shall not weary, the fear shall not alter
These lips and these eyes of the loved and the lover. - William Morris |
