1. | Wish List Shopping | 6 up, 1 down |
One who e-shops but only adds the item to their wish list instead of their shopping cart. This is done more often when alone and poor. Similar to window shopping. Other usages of the term include Wish Lister, Wish Listing, and Wish List Shopper. Betty: Hey Sally, we're going out tonight wanna come? Sally: Sounds like fun but I'm broke so I'm just gonna stay home and do some wish list shopping |
This is what I do on a daily basis. (LOSER, I know) I am not going to tell you how many things that I have in my wish list currently, but I will show you a few....(maybe), but before I do, I will attempt to make sense of why I do this.
Reasons for Wish List Shopping
1. It's free
2. It is a way to spend internet time when Facebook gets old
3. A way to day dream about all the outfits or clothes you could own if you had all the money in the world
4. So that you can make up fake situations where you might actually where the piece of clothing
5. So that you can tell all your friends about all the cool things you are thinking about buying
6. So you can hint to those around you of the things that they can buy you, and you will not hate
7. It's free
8. It is like going window shopping every single day, and you don't even have to go anywhere
9. ......don't really have an 9 (oh well)
I am sure that this is something pretty much everyone has taken part in at some point in time or another. I mean you can't honestly look at bored.com or texts from last night or facebook all the time, so what else do you do.
In my opinion, since this is my blog, I think that wish list shopping is relaxing.
But since I know you are wondering what is in my wish list (or you aren't), I will show you a few cool things I just can't bring myself to buy.
on Amazon.com (my favorite wish list, and mostly filled with t-shirts):
The other site I frequent wish list shop at is Forever 21. Pretty much the entire store is in my wish list, but the most annoying thing about the Forever 21 wish list is that half the time as soon as I put something in my list, it goes out of stock. WTF. I really don't understand why that is, and about half my list, currently, is out of stock, but for some reason I leave it all in there. (Maybe I do this to continue to imagine....)
So point of this blog..........................................
I don't think there was one. So now I am just going to insert a random quote that I like, and maybe we can all get something out of this blog post.........
